Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of interviewplan.ai, the InterviewPlan web application, and the InterviewPlan desktop app (together, the “Service”), operated by 9ance Technologies (“InterviewPlan,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. The Service

InterviewPlan combines your resume, a target role, and company research into a preparation plan, mock interview practice, and a live desktop overlay (“Live Copilot”) that listens during a real interview and suggests answers drawn from your own prep material. Specific features, AI credit allowances, and Live Copilot minutes available to you depend on your subscription plan.

AI-generated content. Suggested answers, scores, and feedback are generated by machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect your actual experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing and adapting any AI-generated content before relying on it, including in a real interview.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed on the cycle shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and/or Razorpay; by subscribing you also agree to their applicable terms.
• AI credits and Live Copilot minutes are consumed as described in-product and do not roll over between billing periods unless stated otherwise on your plan.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law.
• Enterprise/custom plans are governed by the order form or agreement separately agreed with your organization, which takes precedence over conflicting terms here.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of your resumes, job descriptions, company notes, and any other content you upload or generate through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant InterviewPlan a limited license to host, process, and use Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you — for example, generating your Preparation Strategy or a Live Copilot suggestion. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or close your account, except where retention is required by Section 6 of our Privacy Policy or by law.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you submit and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

6. Acceptable use

Use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, in addition to any other remedies available to us.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by InterviewPlan or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as intended, these Terms do not grant you any rights to InterviewPlan’s trademarks, logos, or other proprietary content.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment, with notice where reasonably practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERVIEWPLAN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW OR JOB OFFER.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERVIEWPLAN AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR AN INTERVIEW OUTCOME, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify InterviewPlan against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email or an in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, or handled through binding arbitration where InterviewPlan elects to require it, except where you have a non-waivable right to litigate in your local courts as a consumer. 14. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, are the entire agreement between you and InterviewPlan regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
