Acceptable Use Policy

InterviewPlan is built to help you prepare honestly for real interviews — not to help anyone deceive an employer, harm others, or break the law. This policy describes conduct that is not allowed on the Service. We may remove content, suspend AI credits or Live Copilot access, or terminate accounts that violate it.

1. Interview conduct

Live Copilot is designed to help you draw on your own preparation, not to impersonate someone else in an interview or to misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or work history. Always follow the recording and AI-assistance policies of the company or platform you are interviewing with — InterviewPlan does not authorize you to violate an interviewer’s stated policies.

2. Recording and privacy of others

Do not use InterviewPlan’s recording or “listen to both” features to record another person’s voice or communications without their knowledge or consent, or in violation of applicable two-party consent or wiretapping laws. Do not upload another person’s private information — government IDs, financial details, or contact information — without their permission.

3. Intellectual property

Do not upload resumes, job descriptions, company material, or other content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or confidentiality obligations (including a former employer’s trade secrets).

4. Abuse of the Service

• Attempting to circumvent AI credit or Live Copilot minute limits, or reselling access to your account.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) against the Service without our written permission.
• Uploading malware, or attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts.
• Reverse-engineering the Service in an attempt to extract our models or proprietary prompts, beyond what applicable law permits.

5. Prohibited content

You may not use the Service to generate, upload, or transmit content that:

• Is hateful or discriminatory toward a group or individual based on race, religion, disability, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar protected characteristics.
• Is sexually explicit, or promotes self-harm, violence, or illegal activity.
• Is defamatory, fraudulent, or intended to harass, stalk, or threaten another person.
• Is unlawful in the jurisdiction where you are using the Service.

6. Reporting a violation

If you believe someone is misusing InterviewPlan in a way that violates this policy, contact us at support@interviewplan.ai.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our discretion and depending on severity, in addition to any other remedies available under our Terms of Service.
